General terms and conditions for orders placed online at www.rubyrug.se for delivery in Sweden.
1. Company and contact information

2. Ordering and conclusion of agreements
These general terms and conditions apply to you who are acting as a private individual (consumer) (“Customer” or “you”) and who make purchases on the websites above for purposes that cannot be connected with commercial or professional activities.
By using our website and/or placing an order, you accept the terms and conditions herein. You are also deemed to confirm that you are acting as a private individual, that you are 18 years of age or older and are not under guardianship. If you are acting through a company, any other agreements or the Swedish Sales Act (1990:931) apply instead.
By clicking “complete purchase” in the ordering process, a binding order is created in which you undertake to purchase the goods in your shopping cart. A binding purchase agreement is deemed to have been concluded when we have received full payment for the purchase and any delivery costs. Acceptance of the order occurs when Rubyrug sends an e-mail containing a payment confirmation (receipt) for your ordered goods. Please note that binding contracts for goods ordered by bank transfer as a payment option do not arise until full payment has been received. If full payment has not been received within [five] banking days, the order will be automatically cancelled.
In connection with your order, a personal Rubyrug account will be created. By logging into your account, you can at any time view current orders and register returns, among other things.
3. Prices and payment
The prices stated at the time of your order apply to your purchase. The prices are stated in Swedish kronor SEK and include value added tax (VAT). Rubyrug retains ownership of the goods until full payment has been made. Product prices do not include any payment and delivery fees. The total price for the order is displayed before you complete the order and in the order confirmation.
We strive to ensure that our website contains correct information. However, we reserve the right to typos and technical problems in connection with price statements and we are not bound by prices that you realized or should have realized were incorrect. If an incorrect price has been stated for an ordered item, we will notify you and obtain approval of the corrected price before the order is considered approved.
You can pay with the payment options that we offer in the ordering process; card payment, Paypal, bank transfer, invoice payment, partial payment, Swish and Klarna direct. Rubyrug reserves the right not to offer all payment options for all orders and will refer to current payment options. We and the payment service providers have the right to choose which payment options we offer from time to time.
All payments made via Klarna or PayPal will be subject to separate terms and conditions between you and Klarna/PayPal and these include, for example, information about how funds are reserved and withdrawn as part of the payment process. These terms and conditions apply only between you and Klarna/PayPal and Rubyrug is not a party to such an agreement. You are responsible for any costs associated with your account transactions.
If you choose card payment, you will be asked to verify your payment via 3D Secure to ensure your security in connection with card purchases so that you do not risk your card details ending up in the wrong hands. You can pay with VISA, Mastercard or another payment card that is listed as an alternative at the time of payment.
If you have a Swedish personal identity number, you can be invoiced and pay in arrears. If you choose invoice, payment instructions will be sent from Klarna with a 30-day due date from the time we have sent your item for delivery. No additional fee is charged when purchasing against invoice, however, a reminder fee and late payment interest will be charged for late payment. In the case of debt collection, the debt collection company’s costs and fees will be added. When you choose invoice, Klarna performs a credit assessment, which means that Klarna obtains a credit report. If the purchase does not go through with invoice, you can complete the order with another of the payment methods that we offer.

4. Delivery
We always offer at least one free shipping option for orders above any applicable minimum order value. The minimum order value and associated delivery costs (if any) are stated in the ordering process. We reserve the right not to offer all delivery options for each order. Selectable delivery options and terms for these are stated in the ordering process.
We are only obliged to deliver goods that are available in our warehouse and we reserve the right to final sale of goods. If an item is not available in our warehouse, we undertake to contact you and refund any amount paid without undue delay.
Goods purchased via ”https://www.rubyrug.se” are only delivered within Sweden. Delivery days are understood to mean all days from Monday to Friday, excluding Midsummer, Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve and national holidays in Sweden. We deliver to the delivery address you have specified in the order and bear the risk of the goods until they are delivered. When delivering to your home, you should remember that you are responsible for bringing the goods into your home and that you must be there to receive the goods. We may require identification before we hand over the goods. Our goal is to deliver your goods within two to five days of receiving full payment.
For packages that are not collected or goods that are returned to us because you were not available, despite repeated delivery attempts, we have the right to and may charge you SEK 395 incl. VAT for administrative costs. For goods that have been specially manufactured according to the Customer’s instructions, the full order value will be charged.
Delivery options and costs are presented clearly in the ordering process, where you will be informed of the total amount that you will have to pay (including any delivery costs) before your order becomes binding for the goods you have added to the shopping cart.
If you want to order from another EU country, that’s fine, but then you are obliged to arrange shipping and customs clearance of goods as well as other costs that may arise in connection with this. This means that we package your item and it is then picked up at our warehouse by your carrier after payment has been made. If you have any questions about this, you can contact our customer service.
5. Right of withdrawal
When you shop at a ”https://www.rubyrug.se” you have a legal right to cancel your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order. You have the right to exercise your right of withdrawal and return your order without giving any reason.

The following information must be included in the notice: “I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my purchase agreement regarding the following goods: [∙] which were ordered: [date] and received: [date]. This is a template for a withdrawal form provided by the Swedish Consumer Agency by order of the government. The content is based on Annex 1 to Directive 2011/83/EU.
In order for you to exercise your right of withdrawal in time, it is sufficient to send your message before the withdrawal period has expired.
If you exercise your right of withdrawal, we will refund all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (corresponding to the lowest priced option). The refund will be made as soon as possible and no later than 14 days from the day we received the message that you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal.
We will use the same means of payment for the refund that you yourself used, unless we specifically agree otherwise. If you exercise your right of withdrawal, you are obliged to return the goods for which you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day of your message.
When returning a product, we are responsible for the costs of the return if you use Rubyrug’s return label with the address Rubyrug AB, Ringugnsgatan 11, SE-216 16 Malmö, Sweden. If Rubyrug’s return label is not used, you are obliged to pay the return costs yourself. A prerequisite for a full refund is that the goods are sent back in the same condition as when you received the order. If a decrease in value has occurred due to your handling of the goods, you are obliged to replace them. See section 7 below for applicable terms and conditions regarding returns.
We reserve the right to wait with a refund until we have received the goods back from you or you have provided documentation showing that you have returned the goods.
For goods that have been specially manufactured according to the Customer’s instructions, the right of withdrawal does not apply.
6. Open purchase
In addition to your statutory right of withdrawal according to section 5 above, Rubyrug offers open purchase even after the right of withdrawal has expired. Within 100 days of receipt, you have the opportunity to return the goods provided that the goods are in their original condition, clean and undamaged. See section 7 below for applicable terms and conditions regarding returns. If the goods are not returned in the condition described above, Rubyrug has the right to refuse your return.
Open purchase does not apply to goods that have been specially manufactured according to the Customer’s instructions.
7. Returns
We offer the possibility of returning products within 100 days of receiving them. The provisions in this section regarding the possibility of returning products do not limit the statutory rights described in section 5 above.
Returns must be made using Rubyrug’s return form, which you have access to via a link in your order and delivery confirmation. If Rubyrug’s return form is not used, you are obliged to pay the return costs yourself.
A prerequisite for a full refund is that the goods are sent back in the same condition as they were when you received the order. Returned goods must be clean and undamaged, so make sure that the goods are packaged well, in the original packaging or equivalent. If a product is not returned in the condition described here, we have the right to refuse your return or make a deduction corresponding to the observed decrease in value. If you have chosen an invoice as a payment option, we have the right to charge you for the decrease in value.
If the return is approved, we will refund all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (corresponding to the lowest priced option). We will use the same means of payment for the refund that you used yourself unless we specifically agree otherwise. If the return is not approved, the product will be returned and shipping will be charged.
8. Complaints
Our liability for defects is regulated by consumer legislation. We are, by law, obliged to deliver goods of the quality and appearance that appear in the product description. You as a consumer have the right to complain about the goods within three years of receipt of a product if it is faulty, provided that you notify us of the defect within a reasonable time after you discovered the defect. Regardless, the right to claim defects that you have not complained about expires within three years of the goods being delivered to you.
After you have received a product, we recommend that you check as soon as possible whether the delivery corresponds to the order confirmation, whether the product has been damaged during transport or whether the product otherwise has defects or deficiencies.

If your complaint requires us to examine the product, the shipping label assigned by Rubyrug’s customer service with the address Rubyrug AB Ringugnsgatan 11, SE-216 16 Malmö, Sweden must be used to send the product to Rubyrug for examination. If the assigned shipping label is not used, you are obliged to pay the cost of shipping the product for examination yourself.
The right of complaint refers to goods that are defective according to the Consumer Purchase Act and does not include damage due to abnormal use (for example accidents, careless use, neglected care instructions) or normal wear and tear. Rubyrug reserves the right to refuse a complaint if Rubyrug finds that the goods are not defective according to the Consumer Purchase Act. If the complaint is not approved, the goods will be returned and shipping will be charged.
9. Transport damage
We are responsible for the transport risk, i.e. the risk that the goods are damaged or lost during transport from our warehouse to you. You are responsible for the risk of the goods in the event of any return/shipping to us.
10. Terms and conditions for discounts
Discount offers are only valid for a limited time and cannot be combined with other offers. Discount offers can only be used before the ordering process is completed, once (1) per order and only within the validity period of the current discount offer. Some goods may be excluded from the offer.
Your order may need to meet a minimum order value to qualify for certain discount offers. The total order value for the items must equal or exceed the value of the discount offer. If the total order value exceeds the value of the discount offer, you may pay thepayment of the excess value through any of the payment options offered.
It is not possible to redeem discount offers for cash. The value of a discount offer will not be refunded if you exercise your right of withdrawal regarding all or part of your order, but we will refund the amount you have paid for the returned goods. The refund will therefore only relate to the amount you have paid for the goods after the discount offer has been redeemed.
11. Terms and conditions for gift cards
Gift cards are value credits that Rubyrug may offer for sale. Gift cards can only be used to purchase goods and cannot be used to purchase additional gift cards. Gift cards can only be used before the ordering process is completed. If the total order value exceeds the value of the gift card, you can make payment of the excess value through any of the payment options offered by Rubyrug in the ordering process. If you do not use the full value of the gift card, you will receive a new gift card with the remaining amount. When refunding in connection with a return or complaint of goods paid for with a gift card, your refund will be in the form of a new gift card or you will receive a credit registered in your gift card account.
Gift cards are valid up to and including the date stated on the gift card. It is not possible to redeem gift cards for cash and gift cards do not accrue any interest. Rubyrug is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged gift cards.
12. Change of Terms
Rubyrug reserves the right, from time to time, to change these General Terms and Conditions without prior notice to you of the changes. The General Terms and Conditions published on a ”https://www.rubyrug.se” at the time you place your order apply to all matters regarding your order.
13. Intellectual property rights
All intellectual property rights belonging to Rubyrug AB reproduced on a ”https://www.rubyrug.se” belong to Rubyrug AB and or our licensor who retains all rights thereto. This means that any use of a ”https://www.rubyrug.se” its content that constitutes use other than for the customer’s private, non-commercial use, requires prior written permission from Rubyrug AB.
14. Other
If any provision of these General Terms and Conditions, or part thereof, is found to be invalid, this shall not affect the validity or interpretation of other provisions of these General Terms and Conditions.
Rubyrug AB is the data controller for the personal data collected and processed by Rubyrug. Unless your consent is explicitly obtained, we only collect and store the personal data that is necessary for us to fulfill our obligations under the agreement. Your personal data is only disclosed to third parties if it is necessary to fulfill the agreement with you or if required by law.
We want you to feel safe when you provide your information to us and inform you in our privacy policy about how we handle and process your personal data in connection with your visit and purchase of goods on our websites.
When you place an order via a ”https://www.rubyrug.se” send us an e-mail, you communicate with us electronically and agree that we provide agreements, notices and other communications by electronic means unless mandatory legislation specifically requires another form of communication.

Rubyrug.se uses cookies to provide a comfortable and functional online shopping experience. Cookies are used, among other things, to enable us to manage the contents of your shopping cart and the information required when you log in to your account on Rubyrug.se. We also use cookies to measure and optimize our marketing. By making settings in the browser you use, you can block cookies and also delete cookies that have already been stored. If you choose to completely block cookies in your browser, you will not be able to use our website correctly.
15. Alternative dispute resolution procedure
In the event of a dispute that cannot be resolved through direct contact with Rubyrug, you as a consumer have the opportunity to contact the Swedish General Complaints Board, which is a board for alternative dispute resolution in consumer disputes www.arn.se. Addresss: ARN, Box 174, 101 23 Stockholm. In the event of a dispute, Rubyrug follows the recommendations of the General Complaints Board. You also have the option of using the EU Commission’s online dispute resolution platform www.ec.europa.eu/odr.
16. Applicable law
These General Terms and Conditions and the agreement between you and Rubyrug shall be governed by Swedish law. Disputes regarding application or interpretation shall be settled by a general court in Sweden.

Corporate – B2B order
Orders placed with us through companies will be considered a B2B order. For these orders, there may be exceptions regarding returns, shipping costs and general terms and conditions. In these cases, a separate contract will be provided by us to be signed and approved by the two parties. VAT-free for companies within the EU
Companies that are VAT registered in an EU country other than Sweden and that can provide a valid EU VAT number are not charged VAT. The prices in the online store are displayed with VAT, VAT is deducted at checkout after you have logged in or registered. We only deliver to the address where the company is registered.
